For a long time, animals have been used as test subjects for medical research. Some people believe that this practice is unacceptable. How much do you agree with this opinion?

For many years, medical research has used animals to test treatments, cures and vaccines. It has been argued by many people that this animal experimentation should be banned. Although animal testing has some drawbacks, I am of the opinion that medical research on animals must continue.

As everything in life is like a coin that has different sides people must weigh the pros and cons before jumping to conclusions. However, some may think that reading materials are the best source of knowledge, in my humble opinion, the kills obtained from experience are more beneficial for the following reasons.

It is true that some people believe that museums and art galleries should focus on local history and art rather than international works. While I accept that this may suit many people, I believe that we should not ignore the importance of other countries’ art and history.

History has an important role to play in the knowledge acquisition process of children. While I agree that learning local history is important, I also contend that world history should not be overlooked because of the benefits it brings to children.

The demand for household goods is growing considerably in recent years. While this trend can be positive to some extent, I would argue that it is more negative.

People have different views on how to improve road safety. While I accept that implementing harsher punishments can help solve this situation, I strongly disagree that this is the only measure because there are alternative ways which are effective and need taking into account.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of this development? You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

The pursuit of knowledge is a concept that is valued by most cultures. In the 21st century, we now have many more options on how and where to find that knowledge. If you are a French national, you can apply to do an economics degree in the USA, and likewise an American citizen can take a course in linguistics in France. Indeed, most universities across the world now have a lot of foreign students.

Nowadays, the teaching profession is becoming quite challenging work to choose, especially for secondary schools all around the world.
