In "Many Faces of madness", a shorten documentary written by Amar Kanwar, natural recourses have been destroyed by human’s greediness. For instance, four centuries ago local irrigation was established by Indian ancestor in order to harness common water; yet, when everyone has belong land the water system became a desert because of capitalism. This shows the current impact of human’s behaviors such as deforestation, mangrove destruction and overexploitation which damage biodiversity and do harm to the environment. This phenomenon does not only occur in India, but it is also widespread around the world. Similarly, Thailand has faced a lot of environmental problems, which becomes a very significant government's concern. For example, some capitalists cut down lots of trees in conserved forest so as to set up their own businesses such as resorts or hotels. This action is illegal and the government should solve this problem by promulgating the set of environmental rules and punishing seriously anyone against it. In addition, huge heaps of chemical waste was were found nearby local watercourse, which can affects native communities. It is seen that there is a huge amount of household waste in most of capital cities. For instance, Bangkok, which is the capital city of Thailand, has suffered severe water pollution because of a lot of waste dumped into the rivers. It is not only freshwater animals’ harmfulness it can affect human health also. To put it in a nutshell, environmental problems are common problems of all humandkind because they can cause butterfly effect which can affect other countries as well. Hence, not only does the government have responsibility for environment protection and conservation, but each individual should also contribute to help the environment.
