You have had a problem with your neighbor for the past few months. You have not been able to meet with your neighbor to discuss the problem. Write a letter to your neighbor. In your letter: Explain the problem Suggest a solution Say what action you will take if the situation does not improve Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Ms. Granger,
Dear Ms Granger,
I am writing
this
letter to complain about the noise in your house every morning.
I apologize for the sudden letter as we never really got the chance to discuss the issue in person.
As you know in the morning, I am usually asleep because I work night shifts. The sudden burst of your loudspeaker every morning has woken me up several times. It disturbs my sleep and cannot rest well due to
this
loud sound.
I know that your bandmates are always there for your practice for the upcoming festival. However
, it causes me to fall ill due to
lack of sleep as a result
of the sound. If you could turn down the music ,especially from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This
is usually my time to take a rest.
If you fail to commit to my arrangement. I will ask the organizers of the festival to have you remove from the list of performers.
I hope this
letter reaches you.
Yours faithfully,

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
