Many local languages could disappear because some people believe that studying English at school is more substantial than studying local languages. In my opinion, in today's world, it is crucial for everyone to learn English, but without neglecting their mother tongue. I also believe that we should ensure the survival of local languages by devoting more resources to them.

Did you know that about 30% of local languages do not exist now. Everyone especially young generation should try to keep alive their local languages. However we cannot deny with the fact that knowledge of English language is crucial part of our life in the following paragraphs. The importance of English and local language is discussed along with why English is important and how can we try to prevent extinction of local languages.
