For instance, parents help children establish ground rules for behavior namely respect, obedience and honesty because they are role modes for youngsters. Therefore, home is the first school where children learn about life lessons, especially they will have great a sense of social responsibilities.
On the other hand, some people believe that the role of teaching children to be good members of society is schools and teachers. It is the fact that children are taught skills on various subjects, it will help them enhance knowledge. Furthermore, extracurricular activities for children about society are regularly held at school. It would give more practical experience in contributing to society.
On balance, it cannot be denied that the main responsibility for educating their children to be good members of society lies with parents and school.
