Rishabh Varma Rishabh Varma, A Number's Person / Newbie @ Data Science Answered Jan 23, 2017 · Author has 124 answers and 290k answer views There are 2 Types of IELTS students who are concerned with the Examination process: One who really struggles with the day-to-day usage of English. One who wants to score Higher Bands for their very benefits in Work permits and college admissions. Writing: I cannot give much detail on how to prepare for the Writing part (I scored 7 Myself). Letter writing (General Module) or the Data Analysis (Academic module) carries less weightage, so concentrate more on the Essay Writing part. All I can say is that stick to the basic structure of Essay writing. Para 1: Reinstate the topic and take your stand on it. For the rest of the Essay, you can either say FOR the topic or AGAINST the topic. This part is important as you should have enough Data to speak for in the remaining essay. Para 2-3-4: Take 1 example in each Para and give details explanation of the same. Para 5: Mention the counter side of the argument I.e If you have been saying FOR the topic up till now, give 1 example of AGAINST part. But make sure that you indirectly take your discussion to what you have been saying up till now. (Example: You have said that eating Tomatoes is good for health. NOW in the 5th Para you need to discuss one drawback of the consumption of tomatoes, but sway the discussion towards how the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.) This will give strong signal to the examiner that you are completely aware of what you are talking about and that you are Afraid to take the Counter Examples. Para 6: Just summarize the entire discussion and give concluding sentence. DON'T add new details in the conclusion Para. It's a Red Cross. GRAMMER: You need to polish your grammer skills. It need not be at a high level though. You should provide a fer Complex Structured sentences every now and then. One such complex structure should consist: Verbs Nouns-Pronouns Subject-verb agreement Modifiers Idioms Parallelism Tenses SAMPLE ESSAY: Do look at the sample essays but do not panic looking at the language. Try and structure the sample in your own way. Those samples are 8.5 Bands and Indians usually get the least in the Writing Section. Speaking: If you are planning to take Classes for improving your communication skills, Please don't. Fluency comes from Practice. You need to work with the English language at least 3 months prior to your Exam date, if you are really struggling with the language. I will try and provide tips as I discuss the Different stages of this section. Section 1: This is an intro section. The interviewer will ask you about yourself and few details of things that matter to you or are related to your life. You will find tons of sample question for this section in the Internet. Topics range from: Hobby to Family to Education to Job to Flowers. You need to speak on any given topic whether related to you or not. Section 2: Cue Card. Again sample available. Make sure that you speak for at least 90 sec. Also you need to keep in mind that the Third Section is somehow related to what you say in this section. So do not exaggerate on things that you will find hard to explain in Third Section. Important thing here is speak for the complete length and make sense at the same time. PRACTICE: It won't take more than 30 mins per day to practice a range of topics. So make sure that you practice enough questions to be Exam Ready. I practiced a lot but on the exam day got topics that were completely different. The key for me way the fluency that I was able to achieve during practice and even though I was short of Ideas on the D-Day, it went well for me. There is no Written rule as to what you need to get 7 as the Interviewer is different and questions are random. Just practice and gain enough info on different topics and you will surely ace the Examination. I hope I was of some help. I hate diplomatic answers myself, but cannot help you here with anything else. Best of Luck!

it’s believed that some sports have to be prevented due to physical health damages. I think it’s, of course hardly effective to any racers, too. There are plenty of reasons to the point of views make us to prevent some sporty numbers, I as for instance hint to motor racing. It’s been extremely hard and dangerous for the physical condition for the long run. I’ve watched dozens of motor-racers while driving had annoyable situation. Even thinking of their hard circumstances after incidence made us sick and it’s unbelievable to get even better. First of all, any sports have their own difficulties that racers face. For instance, physical damages and mental problems are on the run while racers racing. Although I agree on how competitions would be definitely amazing for audience, but as a matter of fact, sometimes racers have high speed; it causes to uncontrol the biking and bring difficulties, physically. Therefor, deadly accidents occur and resulted to death. Second of all, if the races might not be resulted to death, it would have been caused to extreme injuries for so long time. A high speed without being able to control makes a competitor unable physically or mentally. Consequently, I may think that sports should be prohibited to safe a life. Prevention causes for a person to not to lose the spend of money as well as having a great living condition.

One of the important aspects in organization is about how their member should dress. Some of them argue that their fellows should care about their fashion style, while others think that quality of work is matter more than others. This essay aims to explore more about these opinions followed by my opinion. Wearing a formal dress and being good looking are the general requirement in some organizations, because they think that appearance will have big impacts on the development of organization. For example, in the marketing sector, the sales will present their best appearance to attract consumer’s attention which it will add the profit for organization. Furthermore, some make appearance as one indicator to measure the discipline of the organizations. The tidy and clean appearances are seen as the proper characteristic to represent the organization. To illustrate, the employees of formal organizations, such as government organization, have to dress properly because their appearance play an important role toward public opinion. On the other hand, some believe that judging people by the appearance is a conservative method because dress smartly does not guarantee the quality of work. The modern organizations nowadays start to change the obsolete opinion by stressing more on quality of work than just appearance. For instance, Google and Facebook allow their employees to use whatever they want, even Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, usually use the grey t-shirt for attending the office. They assume that appearance takes a lot of people time and distract their focus on work, because they will spend a lot of time to choose their dress and make their fashion style as the priority more than their jobs. Therefore, they assure that by concerning more on quality of work than appearance will improve their professionalism and creativity on work. According to my opinion, this issue depends on the type of the organizations themselves. The one who make direct contact with people, such as house of representative and department stores, have to care about their appearance, while others who indirectly work with people, such as the computer programming organization, tend to focus more on their work. In sum up, it does not matter what the organizations care the most, as long as the method they prefer can lead them to achieve the goals of the organization.

I have a hard time fully appreciating what I've accomplished at any point. I understand that I am in complete control, and that's an overwhelming feeling because it means you could always do more, and it might not be doing enough. I didn't take the time to be grateful and give myself respect that I had come so far. It sounds fluffy, but I had to start sitting down and reflecting on a weekly, daily basis on what I did well, and be happy with that and remember if the next day because it's going to be hard every day. Waking up and knowing the challenges will come and I still wouldn't change a thing. I know I chose my right path, and I love continuing to follow it no matter what.

In this era of 21st century, fashion has gained more importance. Our new generation is getting attracted towards fashion. There are different dress code for work, study, party etc. For people at work, they wear formal dress. And for party, people prefer to wear informal clothes. However, I think that it should not be neccesary for a person to wear these outfits. Some organisations believe that it is necessary for an employee to dress fromally. Dressing smartly helps in building confidence. Being nicely dressed also helps one to gain respect from others. It also defines character of a person. For example, it is necessary for a business man to dress formally for business deal beacause dressing style can have an impact over the deal. If employees wear a dress according to the norms, then there would discipline in the organisation. Over and above, it also brings uniformity in the organisation. Well, we all know that appearance can be preceptive. Appearance does not reflect the intellectual capability of a person. For many famous people like Albert Einstein, Euclid etc dressing did not matter much. But with there theories they took science and maths to another level. Being nicely dressed must not appel other but having an intellectual knowledge might appeal the world. So, I believe that dressing does not matter. We should give the quality of work done by an employee more importance than the apperance. In nutshell, the organisation should check the knowledge of an individual rather than the apperance of a person.

In many countries, especially tourism-driven ones, there has been a long-lasting controversy over the matter of whether cultural traditions such as historical sites should be commercialized and used as tourist attractions. While I agree with the idea that to some extent, tourism exerts a negative influence on the culture of a country, I would argue that only through this business sector can such valuable assets be preserved for posperity. On the one hand, opponents of cultural tourism claim that it would have destructive effects on the host country’s culture. Essentially, both tangible cultural traditions such as royal palaces and intangible ones like traditional music were established and uphold by a restricted group of indigenous people who show deep appreciation for their own assets. Conversely, exposuring such cultural items to the wider public inevitably means that they are more prone deviations and damages. For instance, craftmen, with a view to catering for tourists’ preferences, might create artifacts whose traits differ from the conventional products’. The pressing issues of vandalism and desecration of historic buildings commited by travellers is another example sufficing to illustrate this point. On the other hand, those who support cultural-based tourism maintain that this is the only means with which the preservation of traditions could be achieved. Any cultural value would require the public’s recognition and physical upkeep in order to last. Through introducing foreign visitors to the tangible and intangible cultural values of the native, not only can those values be appreciated by a wider group of people, but they would also receive better maintenance thanks to the tax revenues generated from the tourism sector. Japan and South Korea are two high-profile examples of countries that have effectively values incorporated their traditional in tourism, attracting a large number of visitors from overseas by means of their culture, while widely promoting their traditional assets to foreigners. To sum up, while tourist-generated degradation of traditional values is an unwanted consequence of culture-based tourism, this business plays a pivotal role in the preservation of such values.

Success is often associated with the achievement of the wealth, position, honors, or fame that have come about through hard work. On the other hand, some people seem to achieve success accidentally, by being in the right place at the right time. In fact, Karl Popper suggests that “success in life is largely a matter of luck. It has little correlation with merit, and in all fields of life there have always been people of great merit who did not succeed.” Is success in life earned or do people succeed just because they are lucky?
