over the century, from the year 1920 to 2020.
Overall
,
it is clear that
there have been significant changes in shops, houses, a
school
location, and some additional buildings. In 1920, there was a main road named Oak Avenue from the west to the east. The northern area contained a village
at the end
of the fork road, and a Tulebug Bros. Cannery factory to the west. The Elmwood River and beach are in the northern corner. On the other side of the main road, there were houses, a shop, and a
school
. The Prestwich primary
school
was located opposite the industrial plant. To the south of the
school
was Miller's Lake. As the second map shows,
due to
urban development, the factory was replaced by a Yang Office complex. The alley in the village had been extended longer to the north, so it crosses Elmwood River by a bridge. On top of that, there is a bike lane along the river. New apartments supplanted some houses, and a few shops had been built.
However
, the primary
school
had moved to the east of its old place which is now a Lonoco petrol Station.
