Opinions diverge on how to spend the government policy.
While
several people argue that healthcare
deserves the first priority, other aspects are believed to be of greater importance to spending the citizen’s money. This
essay will discuss both views and show my advocacy for the former statement.
On the one hand, many believe other aspects namely the military, education or science are more significant to be spent by residents' tax. To be specific, if a nation invests more spending in health rather than its military force, the national defence will obviously become weaker which might lead the state to be relatively vulnerable to invaders. Not to mention
that other domains such
as education and science also
make great contributions to the country’s progress. Had it not been for educational and scientific progress, the nation would have never seen scientists or doctors who come up with vaccines to cure the disease.
On the other hand
, there is an alternative stance that allocating money to healthcare
should be prioritized for two major reasons. To begin
with, the foremost justification is that health is the key factor which directly exerts an influence on a country’s development. It is undeniable that a nation with healthy citizens will likely have better-performing labourers. Instead
of worrying about curing a disease which has previously been vaccinated, they can put their full concentration into working. As a result
, working productivity is better improved which might boost economic growth. Additionally
, should the mental state together with
the life of the dwellers be menaced, other aspects will no longer be considered significant, particularly in the context where citizens' health is more prone to diseases caused by viruses than ever.
In conclusion, whereas
healthcare
as well as
education, military and science all have certain impacts on the development of a state, I advocate that the government’s money should be prioritized to spend on healthcare
