a slight decline in 2017, social media usage was by far the major cause of why young people use their mobile phones. In 2019 it end up with a 6% rise when compared to 2016. Meanwhile, phone calls were the least popular reason for teenagers to use their phones, with ratios around 10% over the years.
As the usage of social networks increased, the proportion of teenagers mostly using their phones for digital cameras also
grew gradually. In 2016, this
figure was at 15% and remained stable in the following year. Subsequently
