In your letter • explain why you would like to do unpaid work on this programme • describe why you are a suitable candidate • say when you are available to teach.

Dear Sir, I am Harvey, leaving at flat 1, 539, Forest Road, Canterbury 2036. I am writing to you with regard to the advertisement in "The Times" for a volunteer English teacher. First of all, I am a student at Hallam University. I saw an advertisement on 27 march about volunteering work and I am interested to teach English program to refugees because
this
not only boosts my CV but
also
improves my confidence level. Moving on, I found myself a suitable person to teach
according to
the advertisement because I
also
attend two seminars
last
year and have great knowledge of basic concepts. I am pursuing Masters in English.
Finally
, I would really appreciate you if you give me a chance to participate in that work.
Moreover
, from June - August I am on holiday. I want to utilise
this
time in volunteering work. Please let me know if you require any
further
information. My email ID is [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you soon. Yours Faithfully, Harvey
