The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.
The bar chart provides the proportion of British people aged 18–25, 26–35, 36–50, 51–65, or 65+ who donated money to charity in 1990 and 2010.
In general, it can be seen that most categories, except for those aged 51 to 65 and above, gave less money in 2010 than they did in 1990.
Regarding the under-50 crowd, those whose age in 1990 was between 36 and 50 were the most engaged in giving money to charity, representing around 42% of the British benefactors
Next,
the section of supporters in that age scale experienced a decrease of roughly 7% in 2010. Additionally
, those aged 18–25 and those aged 26–35 also
declined by the same percentage, falling to nearly 5% and just under 25%, respectively.
