Overall
, Portugal and Italy showed a significant surge in Co2 emission per person, and Sweden had become the least one. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom witnessed a slight decline, but it had a dramatic rise compared to others. To commence with, Portugal and Italy were substantial growth from 1967 to 1977, taking up 2 and 6 of CO2 emissions in metric tonnes respectively.

in 1977, Italia experienced a slight climb and remained stable until the
