The graph below shows average carbon dioxide (Co2) emissions per person in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, and Portugal between 1967 and 2007. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The line chart illustrates how much
carbon
emissions are made by people
who live in four different countries around the world from 1097 to 2007, namely the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, and Portugal. Units are measured in metric tonnes.
Looking from an overall
perspective, it is readily apparent that the carbon
emissions of the Italians and the Portuguese rose over a period of 40 years, while
there is a reduction releasing of the gase by Brits and the Swiss in the given time.
In the first year, 1967, people
who live in the United Kingdom were the most CO2 releasers which stood at approximately 11 tonnes, followed by Sweden (roughly 9), Italy (just above 4), and Portugal. (around 1) Although
the gas emission of Swiss people
went up initially
until 1977, it dive dramatically between 1977 and 2007 and saw the same level as the Portuguese community which was almost 5 at the end
of the period in question. Italian population emitted carbon
dioxide with an upward trend during 40 years and it almost doubled to reach 8. In the beginning, British people
emitted carbon
almost three times more than Italians but they met at roughly the same level in 2007.Submitted by emineknc on
