it will give me an opportunity to travel.I love travelling and meeting new people. I believe Australia has a lot of exciting things I can learn from including its language and culture. I
also
love to take care of kids and be responsible for them. Getting
this
work will mean an opportunity to move to a new environment, I believe it will be an exciting experience for me. I have a good experience with kids, have been in a similar job before and I am currently in one. I am the best person for
this
work because, I am very patient with kids, punctual and diligent in my duties. I have knowledge of first aid which is an added advantage. I have taken care of children which were much younger than yours and I managed really well, yours will not be an exception. If I get an opportunity to stay with you, I will use my free time to make new friends, visit tourist sites and create memories. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Please feel free to contact me if you need
further
details and recommendations. Yours faithfully, Tina.

The Greeting

Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.

Always start an informal letter in the ways:

  • Dear + name
  • Hi / Hello + name

‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.

For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:

  • Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
  • Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
