There is a line graph which provides information about using the underground station in London for several periods of time. Overall numbers fluctuate from 100 to 400

but it can be seen that the highest statistics are at 8:00 and at 18:00.

there are the lowest points at 6:00 and 16:00. At 6:00 the number of

at the station is about 100 people

it increased in 2 times at 7:00.

figures had a skyrocket to 400

at 8:00.
Besides

had a dip almost to 150 at the period from 8:00 to 10:00 but after it slightly increased to 200

. During the period from 11:00 to 14:00 there was a surge to 300.

it declined significantly to 100 and it hit the lowest point of data. After that figures showed upward trend to almost 400

during the period from 16:00 to 18:00.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
