You have just read an article in an inernational travel magazie which contained some information about your town that is incorrect. Write a letter to the editor of magazie. IN your letter - Correct the information in the article - Explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information - Suggest what the magazine should do about this situation
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter to express my concern regarding the article
that was published about the Kandy town in your last
week's magazine.
In this
article
there is some misinformation published related to Kandy city. As of the Add a comma
,article
article
the old Queen’s Hotel was built in 1916 which is wrong and it should be corrected as 1923. Nevertheless
, the current owner is not Mr J. Edgar, but Mr C.J. Broody. I would greatly appreciate it if you can correct these two errors and publish them again.
Because your magazine is famous among most of the tourists visiting Sri Lanka and most of them take information by referring to the aforementioned article
. Because of that, please make sure the information provided in all the articles are accurate since it will harm the reputation of your magazine. So, I reckon it is better to have a proofreading team with the correct facts before publishing the weekly articles.
I would appreciate it if you can consider this
request and I wish you all the success.
Yours sincerely,
