your home. I am writing an apology letter in response to your complaint about heavy noises from my home been heard recently.
Firstly
, I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused to you and your family. I have been renovating my house for the past 2 months and since
last
week, I have been working on the final phase of wood furnishing. Carving, wood-burning and woodcutting are three tasks that create heavy noises. I am aware of the discomfort it has caused you, as my family too had similar complaints.I would like to apologize for the discomfort caused to your family.
Also
, thank you for bearing all throughout the renovation phase. Your consideration is of utmost importance and your support has made
this
renovation project progress smoothly. I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to heavy noises. To countermeasure these effects, I will start using dampers in my house. Dampers will obstruct
noise
and prevent them from going out. Thereby, the frequency of
noise
that you will hear will be severely reduced. If still the
noise
bothers you, I will request my friend to let me use her workshop.
This
workshop is in the middle of the country and should not cause any inconvenience to anyone. I will perform all heavy
noise
operations at the workshop.

this
letter as an apology gift. Thank you and have a wonderful day. Sincerely, Ms Watkins

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
