In today’s world, private companies rather than the government pay for and conduct most scientific research. Do you think the advantages outweigh disadvantages?

Nowadays, private companies seem to be more in charge than the Public sector in taking the responsibilities for scientific researches. I will elaborate on

this

controversy.

however

, from my perspectives, there are more advantages than disadvantages.

Firstly

, these days scientific researches aim to be the most important studies in life, companies are granting researches for people and students in order to travel and make researches that lead to the development in many aspects.

for example

, granting scientific researches regarding producing electricity by Solar system,

this

will drive human to have more electricity with fewer expenses,

in addition

, full-time electricity without factories and gas produced.

Also

, scientific researches results in some private companies will end faster, as organizations would spend more money in order to reach effective ending research. Most Private companies keep a high budget for their researches and follow up with the concerned on the final task reached,

thus

, will give the impression of commitment and importance of finalizing the project fastly. Contrarily, public sector conducted a lot of scientific researches, but in other hand, researches will take a longer time to be finished, starting with taking approval for proposal requested, to reach the starting time of the research,

however

, in some conditions, it will take years to approve the proposal.

For example

, to start scientific research within a public organization regarding drilling specific places for gas or petrol,

this

strategy will take more than years to be approved from high ministries, as the plan would be communicated to the ministry of energy and

then

requesting quotations,

then

president approval. Once confirmation is received the task can be started. In my opinion, the Private sector is more efficient in finalizing researches, and currently, most of the public organizations are contacting private companies to conduct scientific researches required for the development of the country. A lot of medical, educational researches were conducted through private companies and lead to the positive feedback received from governments. As a conclusion, governments should give more importance to scientific researches, as these efforts would improve and develop human life in many conditions, and may reduce environmental issues
