As populations grow and cities become more crowded, there is pressure throughout the world to construct ever taller buildings to provide accommodation and offices. Many people object to such developments citing the social as well as the physical dangers. What benefits do skyscrapers bring? Do you agree with the objections to skyscrapers?

Skyscrapers are a feature of modern cities in the world. They provide much needed accommodation as both homes and businesses but some people feel that we should not build skyscrapers for safety and aesthetic reasons. I think these factors need to be taken into account when planning such buildings.

Eventually, technology will solve the most important environmental problems the world faces today. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In fact, the world encounters many challenges that seem serious nowadays. The most significant problems are related to the environment surrounding us which impact our lives accordingly. Some argue that technology is the best way to solve these problems, but I believe that establishing rules and policies are among the effective solutions.

In many places, new homes are needed, but the only space available for building them is the countryside. Some people believe it is more important to protect the countryside and not build new homes there. What is your opinion about this?

Recent informative documentaries show that vacant lands are scarce in our cities nowadays. Thus, there is a need to escalate development to the countryside. In spite of the popular belief that these areas should be protected from many new buildings, I am of the opinion that we should construct more homes there.

As more of us are increasingly commute back and forth internationally due to globalization and cheap flights, some might claim that travelling does improve the appreciation for each country. Personally, I absolutely agree with this assertion and those avid travellers indeed understand and show greater respect to other cultures than those staying at home.

In recent times, advertising is becoming increasingly popular. Some people believe that the ways commercials are aired immorally and unacceptable in society. I completely agree with this view because many adverts contain inappropriate scenes, and this could affect the younger generation negatively.

The tourism industry is one which has expanded extensively during recent times, as more people are inclined towards exploring the world. This surge has provided a vital opportunity for developing countries to improve their tourism sectors. This essay aims to shed light on the reasons behind this development, before discussing whether it is positive or not.

Wisdom has always been passed down to us from older generations in the form of guidance. However, there is a considerable amount of debate on whether or not young people should follow their elders’ advice without objection. In this essay, I will elaborate on both sides of the argument, before justifying my own opinion on the statement.

I personally disagree with this idea, and in this essay, I will elaborate on the possible hindrances that it could cause to the general population of a country.

Criminality is an extremely complex phenomenon with a range of causes. Prison and teaching are two suggested ways to tackle this issue. As well as offering my opinion, this essay will discuss the effectiveness of prison and reasons why some people prefer to provide education to alleviate crime.

This essay will discuss why I moderately agree with this proposition with argument against its sole responsibility in some kinds of problem.

It is true that the question of how to be happy in life has been discussed for thousands of years, with tonnes of contradicting views and opinions. While some might argue that the possibility to do what we love is the only way to achieve this state of mind, I do believe that a variety of other equally vital factors all contribute to this desirable aim.

That living on the earth is becoming difficult is only a matter of time, many people believe that the investment in searching for other living planets should be intensified. I disagree with this idea as I believe it is a waste of resources to spend more money to find other planets to settle.

It is true that commentators have different discussions about the importance of further study after graduating from high school. Some people assent to the idea that having a higher educational level is included as a part of a successful career path, whereas others believe that working right after school is a better option.

The books are an enormous source of knowledge which is nowadays transformed its appearance from traditional paper-based to digital form known as e-books. The majority of people believe that it is an advanced mode of reading books with certain positive points. However, others think that e-books are not the proper way of gaining knowledge, paper books are still the best learning or reading material compared to digital books.

In order to solve this issue, local leaders and citizen should have a brief plan for long term development, and invest more on environmental preservation.
