In recent years, there has been a trend towards media reports focusing on problems and emergencies rather than positive developments. In my opinion, this trend is harmful to individuals and society as it can create a sense of fear and anxiety, and lead to a distorted view of reality.
Two pie charts compare the percentage of students who could deliver other languages besides English, from a particular university in England between 2000 and 2010. At the first glance, it is clear that there are six categories of students related to the language which is spoken by university students. Over a decade, the percentage of language acquisition is varied. Some languages increased while other languages decreased.
In the modern day, it is argued whether or not people are responsible for protecting animal species from extinction. Although it may be true that people do not need to intervene in the extinction of animals, I believe that there are some reasons to protect them.
These days, there is an increasing trend in having business meetings and training online. Some people think it is a positive development. However, I firmly believe that it is a disadvantageous phenomenon.
