In recent years, a majority of students take a year break between graduating from high school and before entering the educational institution. Despite it affecting their academic progress, it depends on how the time is spent, it significantly leads to an invaluable experience in continuing their academics at the University.
Nowadays, many pupils decide to take a gap year, and ,usually, they take it after finishing high school. There are students that prefer to work, whereas others, on the opposite, prefer to travel. From my point of view, I believe that both of the experiences are beneficial, and each of them will bring different outcomes.
Most recruitment choose job and trip after finishing school. Depending on pupil background from my perspective, rich enlistment ride around the world and middle-class recruitment take internships for university fees and also got endeavor experiences.
In this modern scenario, many individuals are used to relaxing in terms of spending time in other works or commuting to other places after pursuing their scholar's lives before joining to a college.A proportion of society thinks that there are enormously positive impacts on youngster's when they tend to spend most of time to travel rather than acquiring a work knowledge, but I disaccord with this view.
Younger generations consider taking a gap year to have time for gaining job practice or discovering the world . It is considered that a Life out of the University provides positive personal changes. I strongly agree with the idea of taking an academic break due to the advantageous outcome it has.
Having the opportunity to travel or build work experience, is a choice that some students make when transitioning from high school to university. In my opinion, taking a year to focus on building experience through travel and work allows students to form skills that are not available to them from the educational facilities that they attend and will be of benefit on return to higher education. Both the benefits and drawbacks of spending time away from academia will be discussed in this essay.
Some people are of the opinion that because of the ever increasing cost of education at the University level and the inability of most graduates to find jobs some courses like philosophy and history that do not appear to have practical use in the workplace should not be taught. This essay disagrees with this way of thinking as we need to know our history as a people to move forward in life aside from needing instructors in both history and philosophy. In addition, most of the learning at the undergraduate level need not be practical but should equip us to be critical thinkers.
It is considered by many people that universities should focus on developing practical subject-based education and discontinue art studies to tackle the issues of fees hike and dearth in job opportunities. I completely agree that theoretical art studies are not beneficial to graduates in the current job sector and instead practical knowledge is the key to maximize employment.
Concerns have raised to withdraw courses like philosophy and history, which are related to arts subjects while restricting intake only for high demand, practical degree programs, as there are only a very few opportunities in the society for employment along with increasing course fees. In my opinion, I agree somewhat with this statement as unemployment of graduates increased in the past decade.
The world has progressed phenomenally.New technologies are being developed in the world, such as computer and communication devices. In this present days education is very crucial for the job.Plethora of people think that the university fees are climbing day by day. While, plummete the employment and universities offer only practical degree and they should not teach history subjects and philosophy.I partially agree with this statement and this essay will discuss both the views and give appropriate reasons.
