One of the basic needs of mankind is shelter and housing. Over the years humans have provided practicable solution to the challenge of having accommodations and secured habitats. Predictably, the growing population of humans and the surge in migration has compounded this challenge and the need for more lasting solutions has emerged. At one time or the other, the question of whether to refurbish old buildings or to build new ones to tackle the housing challenges has crop up.
