Many countries have enacted laws to forbid smoking in public places while others do not tend to follow. In this essay, both sides of the discussion will be debated and reach a conclusion.

There is no doubt that smoking in public places continuous to be a controversial issue. Some argued that this is not harms anyone, while others disagree and think it will lead to serious health problems for non-smokers. In this essay I will look both sides of this argument and give my own opinion.

Laws prohibiting the deliberate inhalation of tobacco in public spaces have been passed by some nations, while some other nations have no plan of doing the same. In as much as, both sides have solid arguments to back their stance, I am of the opinion that there are more merits than demerits and this essay will explore both sides of the argument while concluding on which side I favour.
