Though this advancement have some demrits in making online payments, its merits far outweigh them. To begin with, there are number of advantages of using apps for making payments, paying bills or shopping online. Firstly, paying online using apps through our comfort zone. In other words, we do not have to stand in long queue to pay for telephone bills, now we can pay online just by single click on phone. This saves humankind time and energy. Secondly, payment through apps saves money. Nowadays, many apps offers discount and cashback while using app to pay bills. For instance, I get 5% discount for paying my first telephone bill through Gpay app. Thus, it is clear that E-payment saves time and are more accessible and inclusive. On the other hand, there are several demerits of using apps for paying bills especially for older people. They are not very familier with the latest technology and its various applications. This made elderly more prone to frauds while making transactions and paying bills. To site an example, I had teach my grandfather multiple times how to use banking apps, but still he got confused. Therefore, online payment may be unsuitable for most older people. Moreover, there is always a risk of fraud. If the phone gets stolen, the information saved on it could be misused. To conclude, it is becoming popular among people to use mobile apps for paying bills. Even though it has some negative sides, it saves humankind time , energy and money.
