There is no shortage of opinions on whether it is better to keep your old friends or make new ones. But if I were forced to choose, I would definitely opt for saving relations with the friends I already know. It is my firm belief that one old friend is better than two new ones for a number of reasons, and I will develop these ideas in the subsequent paragraphs.

I disagree with the statement, I believe that making new friends is important because we have friends around you whether they are old or new friends. Sometimes making new friendship is used to find true friends in our life.

As old friends know more about one's positive and negative points, so I agree with the statement that keeping a good relationship with childhood friends is more crucial than making new friends.
