In the era, where people are more attractive towards materialistic living and believe to increase social status and position in the society. Without even bothering about their customs and traditions.
More and more people nowadays believe that social status and material possessions are the most important features in one person. However, they are completely wrong.
We live in a world in which everyone is judgmental to the extent that one often makes inconsequential remarks in regards to things that does not affect one in the least bit, such as if other people are driving a Lamborgini or if they are carrying a Hermes bag. It seems as though old fashioned values such as honour, generosity, and trust do not amount to much in today's condemnatory world. Apropos of the statement, I am in part accordance with it.
Given the power and the influence of the super rich, it might seem that social status and material possessions have replaced the old-fashioned values as a measure of a person’s worth. However I do not believe that these assumptions are true in the day-to-day life.
Wealth and luxury life have become the most important part of life, however, a few people are left in the world who do not care about this. I completely disagree with this thought of people because wealth and possession do not make a man perfect.
It might seem that kindness and honor are main representatives of personal statues these days, but I completely disagree with this thought.
Love and compassion are the golden possessions of mankind. Its the love for family and compassion to grow that pushed man outside comfort zone to explore, innovate and prosper. Today we have revolutionised to the extend where we have self doubt if we value people for what they have or for what they are. Just because birds rest on ground to prey on worms, it doesn’t mean they do not fly anymore. Technology have evolved, digitalisation is in full swing. Its new, its fancy and people appreciate such things but it surely doesn’t mean that they do not value people for their trustworthiness and kindness. As long as mankind exists affinity for real emotions would co-exist.

Some even believe that values of our ancestors do not already have any significance to us. In this essay I will examine why modern people rejected some of our core principles, but also will give an overview why this is not a widespread practice.

people nowadays have contrasting views about how to assess an individual's value. Despite the fact that a lot of people think ranking status, property are essential and other factors are minor, I would say that loyalty, honesty and prestige still play an important role.
People in the modern era are judged by the materialistic things they have rather than having deeper qualities such as prestige, generous behaviour and last but not least is honesty. I certainly disagree with the given ideology; therefore, I think that the qualities aforementioned still play an imperative role and the reasons for my opinion will be discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs with relevant illustrations.
In these days and ages, it is becoming common to judge an individual according to his lifestyle and his wealth, as a consequence, old values seem to be less valuable. I firmly disagree with this way of judging people because I believe that a person's wealth depends on his values that cannot be bought.
Some people argue that these day’s people can only be judged with their social status and possession of wealth they have. On the other hand, kindness, and truthfulness are not remain valuable in a person. I disagree with this statement and I will give reasons for this in the forthcoming paragraphs.

In this day and age social judgement is way different than it used to be in the past. During the medieval times, people were judged based on their values, such as trust, loyalty and honor. It was important to such an extent that warriors used to kill themselves in order to escape immoral actions, in a process called Honor Suicide. This judgement have changed drastically mainly due to the dawn of the Industrial Revolution and the development of social media. Despite this shift, these "old-fashioned values" are still considered in some parts of our society.
