Technology has greatly affected every aspect of life including communications. Communicating with recent technology means it is irrelevant to write letters. In my opinion, I think, with modern communication it is completely irrelevant to write letters. This essay will highlight reasons why writing of letters is irrelevant and, it will also give supporting examples from my own knowledge.

In recent years, the way we reach out to each other, has changed dramatically. With new technological advances, there are various alterantive available at our disposal. While most of the world has adopted newer, technologically advanced way of correspondance, some people still use the old method of writing letters. I believe it's not always needed to write letters, but it should not be completely out of use either.

It is a fact that advancements in technology have colossally affected the society over the last few decades. Some people consider letter as the major communicating media, whereas some others argue that the modern communication like email is more effective. However, to a large extent I agree with the argument that the introduction of electronic mail and messages has replaced the use of letters.

Over the past few decades, technology has greatly revelutionised our lives and has introduced different modes of communication like using computer, phone and many more. Some people view this as great way to communicate and will eliminate the idea of writing letters. I don’t completely agree with this perspective, although such sources of communication reduces the chance of human error, their unavailability can also cause serious problems. This essay will firstly discuss the benefits of these modes of communication and later the problems it can cause followed by a reasoned conclusion.

Therefore, the ways of communication are also changing dramatically due to the new technological innovations, as people prefer an electronic conversation instead of writing a letter.
