Hope this letter finds you in radiant health. The intent of this letter is to express my apology for not attending last Monday’s meeting on the subject of analyzing monthly office expenses. As you might ,know I took a week off to visit my hometown because of a family issue and had the plan to get back to Toronto by Saturday night so I could participate in the forenamed meeting. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected thunderstorm on St. John ,island the plane could not take off on time and they had to postpone the flight to another suitable climate. That is why I was not able to be at the office on Monday morning.
